Art Appreciation Group meets 6 times a year to hear about and discuss the lives and works of selected artists. We get together on a Wednesday
evening at 7.30pm in the Music and Drama room at North Waltham School. The annual membership subscription is still £10 and new members are very welcome to join us. If, however, you wish to come along for just one particular meeting, the rate for guests is £2 per session.
The Garden Club meets in the Rathbone Pavilion on Cuckoo Meadow, normally on the second Tuesday of the month, with doors opening for tea & coffee at 7.30pm, and proceedings start at 8pm.
Visitors and New Members always welcome.
North Waltham, Steventon, Ashe and Deane History Society - the local history society for these North Hampshire villages. The NWSAD History Society was formed in February 2000 and aims to encourage an interest in local history through our programme of events, research, publications and website.
Membership costs £10pa, with visitors welcome at £2pp, which includes coffee, biscuits and opportunities to engage with the speaker, while students can come free.
We meet mostly on the third Thursday at 8pm in North Waltham School Hall.
Do you have children under 5? Please come and join us at Puddleducks!
We meet every Wednesday morning in the Doris Cooke room at the Rathbone Pavilion from 9.00 –11.00am (£2 per family) - all are welcome. Come and enjoy a hot drink and toast or pancakes and meet other parents and childminders of young children. Every week we have crafts or another fun activity for the children, and we have lots of new toys to play with. We finish each week with a story and songs.
The WI meets in the Rathbone Pavilion on Cuckoo Meadow, normally on the second Thursday of the month. If you are not a member of the WI, you are more than welcome to come along to any of our meetings if a particular topic interests you or you would just like a night out (there is a suggested donation of £3.50 for guests).
We are a friendly bunch of ladies of all ages and we have some very interesting and varied speakers to try and cater for all our different interests - but most importantly we usually end up having a really good time with lots of laughter - and how important is that in today's world?
