Our last meeting on Thursday 8th March 2017 was our 82nd Birthday Party when we were joined by several guests from the Hampshire WI, Church Crookham WI with whom we are twinned and local guests, all of whom were warmly welcomed to the meeting.      See full story...

Meadow clear-up

Many thanks to everyone who braved the snow and wind on Saturday to clear Cuckoo Meadow / Play Area in preparation for the start of grass cutting. Particular thanks are again due to Alan Purkiss for use of his trailer to remove the debris.      See full story...

WI - January and February 2018

Our first meeting this year was on 11th January 2018. Carolyn led the business meeting and discussed with us the contents to be included in the North Waltham entry for the Countryside Books, ‘Hampshire Villages’, to be published later this year. We then voted on the 2018 WI Resolutions put forward. The speaker did not appear so we had a catch up chat over coffee or tea and biscuits instead.      See full story...

BATS Next Gen - Les Misérables: School Edition

Les Misérables: School Edition BATS Next Gen is proud to bring this author-approved edition of the musical to Basingstoke, performed entirely by students. The cast of students come from across North Hampshire and includes local residents Jess Miller and Olly Sanvoisin. The show is running at The Haymarket Theatre, Basingstoke, from the 12th – 14th April. Evening performances at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
