Church Fete Meeting

The annual CHURCH FETE / BIG LUNCH returns on Sunday 19th May to include the usual stalls, games, activities, refreshments and food. Village Fete - Big Lunch

The annual VILLAGE FETE - BIG LUNCH returns on Sunday 19th May - from 12 to 4 pm This year we hope to bring you a Grand Raffle, along with stalls from local businesses and the traditional plant, book, tombola stalls. Thank you to the Village Working Party

Thank you to the residents who turned out last Saturday morning as part of the Village Working Party to cut back ivy growing on the trees on the wild area of St Michaels Green. Your help was greatly appreciated and we will now be able to fully assess the health of these trees as they come into leaf later in the Spring. Village Working Party for St Michael's Green

Please come along to join a Village Working Party on Saturday 9th March at 10.00am to undertake some work to trees at the far end of St Michaels Green on the wild area opposite the Church. This work will involve cutting the ivy at the bases of the trees to ensure the ivy eventually dies and falls from the trees. (This event has originally due to take place on 2nd February but was postponed due to the snow)      See full story...

North Waltham Parish Council Additional Meeting

will be held on Monday 4th March 2019 at 7.30pm in the Doris Cook Room, Rathbone Pavilion, North Waltham. Amended plans for the planning application for The White Cottage, Popham Lane, North Waltham, will be discussed. Exhibition on the Development of Basingstoke Golf Club

The Basingstoke Golf Course site has been allocated for approximately 1,000 homes in Basingstoke and Deane Borough Councils adopted Local Plan. This exhibition will provide more information about the proposals, enable you to meet and ask questions of the project team and to provide them with your thoughts. The exhibition will be held at Basingstoke Golf Club on Friday 1st March 2019 from 2.00pm to 8.00pm and at Hatch Warren Community Centre on Saturday 2nd March 2019 from 10.00am to 2.00pm.      See full story...

WI - Feb 2019

Our first meeting of the New Year took place on January 10th 2019 when Colin Pawson, a keen member of the British Carriage Society, gave us an illustrated talk on the history of coaches and coach horns from the golden age of coaching to the present day.
