Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council have received a request from a local resident to provide a bus shelter at the bus stop at the top of Elizabethan Rise. BDBC has some monies available to provide a green and yellow steel framed shelter with UV polycarbonate/toughened glass panels, as seen around Basingstoke. However, if we wish to consider an alternative which is more in keeping with the environment, North Waltham Parish Council will need to contribute towards the cost. The Parish Council will also be responsible for ongoing maintenance.
The Parish Council would like to know your views
We would particularly like to know:
- If you feel there is a need for a bus shelter in this position?
- If a bus shelter is provided, are you happy to have a green and yellow steel framed shelter, or would you like something more in keeping with the environment?
Please could you forward all views to the Parish Clerk (Rosemary Coulter)
by 19th March 2017?
The issue will also be discussed at the Parish Council meeting
on 21st March 2017 at 7.30pm in the Rathbone Pavilion, North Waltham
Members of the public are welcome to attend
We look forward to hearing from you
