North Waltham WI is continuing to follow the guidance from Hampshire Confederation of WIs and at the current time we are unable to hold any meetings. The following is from HCFWI Chairman following their recent Events Meeting - “We are finding it very frustrating to have to wait before making definite bookings as, sadly, it could still be sometime before the restrictions are lifted on meetings. But for the good of everybody, we must be patient.”
We are hoping to hold a North Waltham WI Committee Meeting in July to discuss if there’s anything we can be doing – if anyone has any ideas, brainwaves or comments about what we can do, if anything, during the lockdown restrictions, please can you let me know.
We will continue to review the situation and will communicate decisions to our members. If restrictions and weather allow us, one suggestion is to have our Garden Meeting in July or August 2020. If we can go ahead, it will be a very informal catch-up afternoon or evening in someone’s garden, to be decided nearer the time.
We hope that everyone is staying safe and able to get all their shopping, medications, etc, in these very challenging times.
However, we are all still here for each other so if anyone needs anything or just a chat please do get in touch firstname.lastname@example.org
