South East Water, has launched a consultation on their draft Climate Change Adaptation Report and would welcome your views over the coming weeks.
As a water company, we’re acutely aware of how the weather and climate affect our business so it’s vital we plan ahead to make sure we’re well prepared for any change.
The draft Climate Change Adaptation Report 2021 is our latest assessment of how climate change will affect us, as a business, and the risks we need to take into account and mitigate for.
The report sets out 12 key risk areas including rising sea levels, flooding, environmental changes, leakage and the changing supply/demand balance.
Against these risks, we outline mitigation work already completed as well as how we intend to combat these issues going forward.
