Consultation has now started on a draft Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan for the borough, after a series of workshops and consultations that have helped to inform its preparation. The draft plan sets out a strategic approach to improving walking and cycling opportunities, helping to inform a longer-term network of routes to make travelling by these modes safer and more attractive. It also helps to respond to the Climate Emergencies declared by both the borough and county councils.
The draft plan is available for comment until Sunday 4 September and we would like to receive your views on the plan in order to shape the final version prior to adoption.
