Village Trust Annual Meeting

North Waltham Village Trust will be holding our Annual Meeting at 20.00 on Tuesday 7th February in the Rathbone Pavilion. We will be reporting on activities during 2016, our finances, results from the Planning Questionnaire we issued last year and some plans for 2017. After the formal items, we will have an informal discussion over wine, cheese and nibbles. Rolling Supper in North Waltham - Saturday 26th November 2016

The Village Trust is organising a Rolling supper in the village on Saturday 26th November. Tickets will be £15 per person (to be paid for by 12th November) and venues and rounds will be announced on the day. Offers to host starter, main course or puddings will be welcomed. The plan is to have a maximum of 8 people per round. Wine will be available at each venue for a donation.      See full story...

Mini football pitch

The Village Trust has set up a mini football pitch towards the top end of Cuckoo Meadow. The posts will be left in place for casual use. We also have a set of matching nets for organised events. If any adult is interested in organising coaching sessions etc. for youngsters, please contact one of the Trustees directly or by e-mail to info@northwaltham.org. We will be removing the lower full-size goal post in due course but will leave the top one in place for target practice.      See full story...

Dog fouling on Cuckoo Meadow

Regrettably, there have been reports of increasing instances of dog fouling in Cuckoo Meadow which is not being collected by the dogs' owners. Apart from being unpleasant, dog excrement is known to present a health hazard and young children are particularly vulnerable.      See full story...
