Thank you to the residents who turned out last Saturday morning as part of the Village Working Party to cut back ivy growing on the trees on the wild area of St Michaels Green. Your help was greatly appreciated and we will now be able to fully assess the health of these trees as they come into leaf later in the Spring. Please come along to join a Village Working Party on Saturday 9th March at 10.00am to undertake some work to trees at the far end of St Michaels Green on the wild area opposite the Church.
This work will involve cutting the ivy at the bases of the trees to ensure the ivy eventually dies and falls from the trees.

This exhibition will provide more information about the proposals, enable you to meet and ask questions of the project team and to provide them with your thoughts.

Our first meeting of the New Year took place on January 10th 2019 when Colin Pawson, a keen member of the British Carriage Society, gave us an illustrated talk on the history of coaches and coach horns from the golden age of coaching to the present day.
