Neighbourhood Plan - Call for Sites

As part of the Neighbourhood Plan, it is important to consider the merits of making site allocations for development in and around North Waltham to address local needs.  As part of its work in assessing opportunities for future development and potential sites to bring forward to meet the requirements set out in Local Plan - Policy SS5, the Parish Council’s Plan Project Team is calling upon landowners and managers of land within the Parish of North Waltham for expressions of interest in applying for future development permission.      See full story...

Parish Council Village Walk Around

The Parish Council will be undertaking a Village 'Walk Around' on Tuesday 15th August 2017 to review the general condition of the village and to determine if any action needs to be taken. We will be starting at the Pond at 7.30pm. If anyone would like to discuss any aspect of the village with the Parish Council, please feel free to meet us at the Pond at 7.30pm or catch us on our way round. A303 Roadworks - Overnight Closures

A303 Roadworks: Thruxton Hill, Kimpton Quarley and Picket Twenty (Hampshire) – Overnight Closures Kier and Highways England have advised that there will be overnight road closures between 10pm & 6.00am from 21st - 24th August 2017 to complete barrier installation. A303 Advance notice of Road Works

Free Football Sessions

Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council is working in partnership with Reading Football Club to deliver free weekly football sessions at Everest Community College (RG24 9UP). The sessions take place on the artificial pitch, 4.30pm to 6pm every Tuesday and anyone aged 11 to 19 years old is welcome to come along. Just turn up and play!      See full story...
