A Notice of Election has been published by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for the Election of Parish Councillors in North Waltham. Nominations must be delivered to BDBC Civic Offices before 4.00pm on Wednesday 3rd April 2019. If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 2nd May 2019.      See full story...

Our 83rd Birthday Meeting was held on March 14th 2019 in the school hall at North Waltham. The hall was full of members and guests, including members from another WI and some from the Hampshire Federation of WIs.      See full story...

Church Fete Meeting

The annual CHURCH FETE / BIG LUNCH returns on Sunday 19th May to include the usual stalls, games, activities, refreshments and food. Thank you to the Village Working Party

Thank you to the residents who turned out last Saturday morning as part of the Village Working Party to cut back ivy growing on the trees on the wild area of St Michaels Green. Your help was greatly appreciated and we will now be able to fully assess the health of these trees as they come into leaf later in the Spring. Thank you also to Alan Purkiss, Tree Warden, for advising us on what to do.      See full story...

Village Working Party for St Michael's Green

Please come along to join a Village Working Party on Saturday 9th March at 10.00am to undertake some work to trees at the far end of St Michaels Green on the wild area opposite the Church. This work will involve cutting the ivy at the bases of the trees to ensure the ivy eventually dies and falls from the trees. (This event has originally due to take place on 2nd February but was postponed due to the snow)      See full story...
