Tree debris collection in Cuckoo Meadow

There will be a working party in Cuckoo Meadow at 10.00 this Saturday, 7th March, to collect debris fallen from the trees. Following the February storms, there is an exceptionally large amount of material to collect this year and we need a good turn-out from the Village. North Waltham Parish Council Additional Meeting

will take place on Wednesday 4th March 2020 at 7.30pm in the Doris Cook Room, Rathbone Pavilion, North Waltham. A planning application for Building at Folly Farm and land opposite Crawley Copse, Overton Road, will be included on the agenda. Cuckoo Meadow tree debris working party

Thanks to the support of Alan Purkiss, a working party has been arranged to clear up debris fallen from the Cuckoo Meadow trees before the start of the grass cutting season. Village Trust AGM

North Waltham Village Trust will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 29th January at 8 p.m. in the Rathbone Pavilion. Please come along to let us have your views on development of the Village meeting and recreation facilities. After delivery of the annual report and election of the Trustees for 2020 we will have an open discussion with villagers over wine and nibbles. WI - Jan 2020

Our last meeting was on Thursday 12th December 2019 – this was our Christmas Social and members enjoyed mince pies, stollen, mulled wine and mulled apple juice. This was followed by members sharing Christmas poems, ditties, etc as well as a mini pantomime put on by several members. We all enjoyed the chance to have a bit of a natter as well!
